On 28 November 2019, tenders were opened for the two Canberra Drive sites (Parcel A & B). The tenders were closed on March 3, 2020. Parcel A and Parcel B received land parcels on 99-year lease terms.
On Parcel A at Canberra Drive, the Commodore is a luxury condominium being built. Oasis Developer Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of JBE Holdings Group, is developing it. This site covers 18,040.6 square meters.
JBE Holdings Group was awarded the Government Land Sale Program for its highest bid of $129.2million. This translates to $644 per square foot per plot ratio (psf per plot ratio). Five bids were submitted to this tender. MCC Land was second with its $124.9 million bid.

The Commodore progress can be found along Canberra Drive in District 27. It is just 2 minutes walk from Canberra MRT. There are many leisure activities as well as excellent schools. The upcoming North-South Corridor will be convenient for drivers who live in The Commodore Condo Singapore.
The new Canberra MRT Station on North-South Line is just a short walk from the Commodore. Since 2019, it has been in operation. It would be a great convenience for future residents as it would allow them to quickly commute to different parts of Singapore. At the moment, Canberra Drive is approximately 21 minutes drive from Orchard Shopping Belt and Central Business District (CBD), 24 minutes drive. For residents who prefer to travel on the road, Canberra Link is available. It is located in the vicinity both of the land Parcels. They also have access to the Seletar Expressway. The North South Expressway, which will connect residents to City Center in the North of Singapore, will be completed by 2026. This will lead to a significant increase in transportation in the North Region.
There are only a few bus stops near Canberra Drive that provide service in the area: 117, 883 and 169. Bus 169 operates on two routes. It runs from Ang Mo Kio and Woodlands Temporary Exchange, and vice versa. Ang Mo Kio Primary School, Yishun MRT Station, and Mayflower Secondary School can all be reached by future residents who take Bus 169 from a stop just outside Canberra Drive.
A number of renowned and established schools are located near the upcoming project by The Commodore. These schools include Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School (Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School), Yishun Primary School (Yishun Secondary School), Endeavour Primary School. Yishun Junior College can also be found just a few minutes from here. The school Sir Manasseh Meyer International School is close for families who wish to send their children to schools with international curriculum.
